Local Schools is committed to identifying, locating and evaluating all
children from birth to age 21 who may have a disability. Disabilities
means conditions such as hearing impairment, multiple disabilities,
visual impairments, speech or language impairments, specific learning
disabilities, emotionally disturbed, cognitive delays, other health
impairments (major and minor), orthopedic impairments, autism, deaf
blindness and traumatic brain injury.
Parents, relatives, public and private agencies, and any other concerned individual may contact the Special Education Office at Clearview Local Schools by calling Mrs. Meagan Khandekar, Director of Special Education, at (440) 233-3806 to refer any child who may have a disability and need special education. District officials will be assigned to assess each referral to determine if an evaluation is necessary.
