This is a very important year for your child, this is the year your child will learn how to read, write, and add/subtract. It is beneficial for you child to practice reading skills at home at night. Reading to your child is just as important as them reading to you. Please make sure to check yellow folders nightly and return any homework assignments promptly in their yellow folders if necessary. As a teaching team we value each and every child in our classroom and will make sure to create a safe, encouraging learning environment.
