I will typically send home an invitation for an IEP meeting more than a month prior to the meeting date. Even if you are not able to attend, please sign the invitation and send it back to school with your student.

 

The week of your child's IEP meeting, I will send a reminder as well as a rough draft of the IEP for you to review.

 

Please bring the IEP draft as well as any questions, new medication list, comments, or concerns to the meeting.

My name is Hillary Rios. This is my 7th year teaching 8th grade Special Education at Durling. I earned my Bachelors degree in Special Education from Ashland University. I also earned my Master's Degree in Special Education from Ashland University and a master's degree in Administration from YSU.  I love children and I am looking forward to a great year with your students!! I have been married for 17 years and have three boys; Hayden, age 16, Holden, age 9, and Hudson, age 3. In my spare time, I like to read, shop, and spend time with my family. I love watching movies. My favorite vacation spot is anywhere with a warm beach.
